After a thrilling decade in the DOMAIN, we’re bringing you closer to the heart of the action. We’ve relocated to the RAILS, a stone’s throw from the pulsating energy of the racetrack. Here, the adrenaline of horse racing is not just experienced, it’s lived.

What is the site number?
We will be located at the Rails in sites 1134, 1135 & 1136.
What time do the gates open and close?
Gates open at 9am and close at 7pm
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, your entry ticket, and your best party shoes.
What is provided on the day?
Course entry, beer, wine, bubbles and plenty of food.
What is the dress code?
Gentlemen are required to wear a suit of tailored slacks (tailored chinos acceptable), sports coat or blazer, plus tie and dress shoes. Ladies are expected to maintain a suitable standard in keeping with the dignity of the Members’ Enclosure. Be sure to dress warm if weather is inclement. Umbrellas recommended if weather looking wet.
What if I forget my ticket?
NO ACCESS will be possible without your VALID RAILS Entry Ticket.
Will there be bookies and TAB available?
Yes the Domain has its own bookies and TAB facilities.
Do we bet as a syndicate or alone?
Everyman for themselves although we have group bets going throughout the day. More information will be provided closer to the day.

Getting There
By Train
Special trains run direct to Flemington Racecourse on racedays.
Flemington Racecourse-bound trains depart Flinders Street Station and/or Southern Cross Station, stopping at North Melbourne Station, then express to Flemington Racecourse.
Arrival and departure times will be published on the raceday page two weeks ahead of time.
By Tram
From the corner of Elizabeth Street and Flinders Street catch the No. 57 West Maribyrnong tram to Flemington Drive (stop 30).
Please note, low-floor trams do not run on Route 57 and it is therefore recommended passengers using a mobility aid should catch the train to the racecourse.
By Bus
Catch Route 472 bus from Williamstown, Footscray or Moonee Ponds to Fisher Parade. Enter Flemington Racecourse via Riverbank entrance.
Catch Route 404 bus from Footscray or Moonee Ponds to Smithfield Road. Enter Flemington Racecourse via Stables Drive entrance.

By Car
Limited public car parking is available in the centre car park for $20. Enter off Smithfield Road at the Stables Drive entrance after 7.30am.
VRC Members’ car parks
Members’ parking in the Unreserved Car Park must enter via Flemington Drive off Epsom Road.
